Emily Galloway is currently the Head of Product Design for Personalization at Spotify where she drives and influences initiatives at the intersection of technology (AI, ML, algorithms) and audio (music, podcasts, audiobooks).
She leads a team of product designers, content designers, and writers who focus on designing personalized experiences at scale. This can be seen on surfaces like Home and Search, and heard through listening experiences like Daily Mix, Discovery Weekly, Blend, and the new AI DJ. Design is being used to drive deeper and more meaningful connections between creators and their fans.
For 20 years, Emily has been a leader in the design industry speaking at events across the globe and being featured in publications like Fast Company, Tech Crunch, and Communication Arts. She lives in Boston, MA with her husband and two bonus sons.
